With the cooler weather beginning to settle in, I'm back to felting with a fury!! I'm putting my 3D felt aside for a while and returning back to making some scarves and shawls for the holiday season. My major goal is to combine the practicality of a scarf that can be worn every day, without losing it's artistic value and expression. I suppose practice makes perfect!! This piece is made with a silk scarf as the base, mulberry silk slivers and merino wool. The mulberry silk is what gives it that shiny, stained glass effect.
