EARTH SUN MOON

Done with the same method as my other planet balls............I took a lot of pics with all the possible variations of light effects just to capture the versatility of these little lamps 'in action'.

I found this awesome perpetual face vase, jazzed it up with silk fibers and sealed them with a clear glaze. The runner is a nuno felted silk tie dye scarf...............regardless of the bloody scene, our patient survived his ordeal and is alive and well!!!

The Mirror People

Taking a break from felting, I decided to fool around with some spray paint on a clear glass vase. I used looking glass spray paint on the interior and on the exterior I used a mat grey in which I carved a giraffe design. The sand dollars are the kind that light up (which explains the ugly looking wire leading from the back- PHOTO SHOP WHERE ARE YOU???!!!) This was basically a time killer but I wanted to post it in my blog, just to have a record of what I can and CAN'T do!! In the meantime, I think I'll just stick to felting!!  :)

Three Little Birds

It Came From Outer Space (the female) aka SPACE ODDITY

Another visitor from outer space..........a mate for our first close encounter!! Don't ask me how the sex is, I wouldn't know!! For this project, I used all the scrap material I had laying around. Nothing goes to waste in felting. This being lights up with a led bulb that changes color but, alas, I am unable to capture it with my meager photographic abilities and my digital camera!! Use your imagination folks!! Seriously though, the pictures don't do it any justice whatsoever!!
