I Promised You A Rose Garden!!

Just another bunch of chain flowers on driftwood. These cane be worn as necklaces and a big bunch of them can work like a scarf!! It just takes a bit of imagination!!!  :)

All Tied Up!!

This is another recycled scarf that might look familiar. I just knotted up triangular pieces of cotton on the ends and the options are endless!! The sari silk after the felting process ends up giving it that stained glass effect. I love it!!

I Never Promised You A Rose Garden

This one's got it all!! Izolan, silk, copper roses which I cut (ouch!) and made the patina in a primitive Tupperware fume chamber with salt and ammonia. Even Brillo pads for cleaning pots and pans!! My art has been going off on a tangent lately and I've been working and combining all sorts of things along with felt. I like the contrast of organic and inorganic materials in my projects.

Mercury Glass

This is my own way to make mercury glass with a bit of silver silk to make things more interesting!!

Eyes of the World

I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves!!

Cry Baby, Cry............

This is an interesting project!! I've got myself a bunch of crying eyes which absorb sunlight during the day and then glow in the dark at night. I really tried to capture the effect with my digital camera...........I hope somehow you can get an idea. Most of these things are better seen live in action since I'm such an amature in photography!!

It Came From Outer Space

This might seem familiar!! I often get a kick out of recycling my older work. A little driftwood here, an eye that glows in the dark there, some wire and VOILA!! I've got myself something completely different!!

Terrapin Station

Why? Because it reminds me of the beat up old station on the Grateful Dead album!! This was made from driftwood which I collected all summer combined with felt to cover up a couple of my here's and there's. It's a lamp- not to light up your room but to create an atmosphere!! Especially in the dark where the light plays with wonderful designs on the wall!!

My photography really sux , but this is what it looks like in a darkened room:
